A very Happy Thanksgiving to all. Karl and I hope you have a tummy-filling, yummy-stuffing, turkey-gobbling good time. :-)
The weather looks fair, so safe travels.
Karl and I are doing well. We're reving up for the holidays. I've gotten a few decorations up and out. Last Christmas, Kathy Buter (Karl's mom) gave us a set of decorative Christmas trees that are now gracing our coffee table. (They smell slightly like pine, so every now and then I think I smell a waft of pine tree and wish for a real one.)
Thanksgiving, this year, is at Karl's parents with his sister and brother. Mom was going to join us, but unfortunately she had to work. :-( Christmas is going to be fun, though! We couldn't figure out what to do for the Gessner Christmas, or if we were going to even do one this year. So, Karl and I offerd to have it at our place (yes, our small apartment). With only about 8 people, it shouldn't be too crowded. We'll probably have to do a buffet style dinner, though because we only have one size table. :-) I'm excited for this. I'm looking forward to having people over to OUR house. A really cool thought - not my parents', not Karl's parents' but OUR home. :-)
I hope to remember to post another slideshow. This one in two parts of our wedding. There's quite a few pictures so I had to break it into two parts. We finally got all the pictures printed, though. Thank goodness. It was weighing on me to get them done. They compact so well in our photo box that it hardly looks like 300 pictures. :-) Now comes the task of picking and choosing which pictures we'd like to print for our frames.
This weekend is going to be nice in that it's a four day weekend but also I'm going to see my kitty, Murphy, and her three kittens! I haven't seen Murphy since late August and I've never seen the kittens. Oh I'm so excited!
So, have yourself a wonderful holiday. Fill yourself with happiness and good food. And if you're going shopping Friday, BE CAREFUL and GOOD LUCK!
